However, don’t be misled, she might be sweet and innocent but her writing often deals with some pretty dark and intense themes. Synopsis:

I didn’t understand what I was feeling.

My hands were so tightly gripped around his throat, I felt his Adams apple push in. I was completely lost in the thought of choking him out. All I saw was red. The girl was screaming so loud I finally woke up from my trance. When I did, he sucker-punched me in the face. I fell down with a hard bang against the gravel, he scrambled to his feet and starting walking towards me, his boots ready to stomp on me. I twisted around trying to find something on the ground to use as a weapon. I reached out for a big rock that was next to me. I quickly got to my feet and cracked him over the head with it. He went down fast. She screamed again. “You killed him!” She said nervously. Then she looked around to see if anyone saw what I did and she whispered, “Good.” I looked over at her. She stood up and patted her sun dress down, trying to smooth it out and shake the dirt off of it. I was shocked at the way she was so calm standing over him, watching his body shake and the blood seep from the side of his head. She actually made me smile…I almost laughed. But, when I looked down at him, he was bleeding from the side of his head way too much, and now…I was a little scared. Not because he was bleeding, but because all I saw were…cuffs.

Synopsis:
“What am I going to do without you?” she whispered in my ear. “Don’t worry about me. Take care of Bryan.” “I can’t do it without you. I can’t do anything without you.” She sniveled in my ear, grabbing on to my neck. I could feel her tears on my shoulder. “Look at me. You have to. Bryan needs you. I need you to tell me you’re going to be alright.” “No…no, I’m not.” “Maddie, please…tell me. I won’t be able to sleep tonight or ever. Tell me.” I remembered this day like it was yesterday. I looked out into the hallway…NO ONE. I looked down at the floor…A BODY BAG. Then I remembered what Andrew said to me before I left, ‘I’ll think about sending Maddie back to you either tonight or tomorrow…in a body bag.’ No…No… Not Maddie… Please…God…Not Maddie. I slid down the wall near the opening of the door, the sweat on my forehead dripping profusely into my eyes. The tears ran down my cheeks relentlessly, and I knew if Maddie was in that bag, they would never stop. My hands shook as I leaned in to unzip the body bag. As I did, my stomach gurgled and my heart pounded into a fast steady pace that left me breathless. I became lightheaded from the lack of oxygen, my stomach revolted as I feared the worse. I can’t look… I can’t… I… I looked down as I unzipped the bag and her face appeared. Jesus Christ… My God…

Grandma sat her down at the kitchen table telling her it was going to be okay. I needed money for my next hit of heroin. I passed right by her. I didn’t care what she was crying about. I’ve never been human Madison, just a junkied up whore. Drugs and my mother ruined my life. If I was his mother, I would’ve done the same thing I did to you and the kids. He deserves to find his birth mother. He deserves a little happiness in his life. Happiness I couldn’t give him. Though he suffered because of my mistakes, I’m happy he found you. He’s been good to you Maddie. Take care of each other. Make sure you give him the birth certificate. Let him find some happiness. Will you tell him I’m sorry? Will you tell him, Madison…Please? I crumpled the letter in my hand. How long had she had all of these birth certificates? She knew Stone was not her son and didn’t tell me. She didn’t even tell him. God, I hated that she created four children and didn’t give a fuck about any of them.
ABOUT ANGEL ROSE
I was Born and raised in NYC…The Capital of the World. As a child, I loved to draw. I spent most of my time drawing instead of playing with dolls. As I got a little older, around ten, I started to write cartoons and plays to act out with my friends on the block. Then, it all stopped. I continued to draw, tried out for a specialized Art High School, but wasn’t accepted. So my dreams of becoming an artist fizzled away. My life took a totally different path and writing just wasn’t a part of it, unless I had to write a paper for College. Marriage, two kids and three college degree’s later, I decided to start writing in 2007, while taking online classes for my next degree. Then, I stopped writing… Life took over. 😦 (Sounds like my next suspense book…LOL!) To my surprise, I found the book one day hidden away in the closet and started writing again in 2014. With a little push from my best friend, I finished the book in 2015 and took a chance on self-publishing it. I self-published in August 2015 and…here I am! Today, I am married and reside in upstate New York in the sticks with my husband and teenage sons! This author life is a hidden treasure. The second part of my life has just begun…Follow me.
